Yesterday, the German company Actionpro has announced a successor to its SD21 action camera, which is called
X7 and will come to the stores in June. Like some others, it's a GoPro look-alike, but now it seems that the similarities can be found inside as well, because even the technical specs (as far as they are available at the moment) are on Hero3 Black level: 12MP Sony Exmor sensor, FullHD with up to 60p, 720p with up to 120p, maximum frame rate of 240p, built-in WiFi, waterproof housing with a depth rating of 60m. But there are differences, too: The X7 sports an integrated display on the back and a glass lens made of eight elements, where the Hero3 lens has only six. What the X7 is missing might be 4K and Protune mode, at least Actionpro doesn't mention anything about it. Together with an accessory kit the X7, which is made in South Korea, will have a list price of 349 Euro. That's the list price of a GoPro Hero3 Silver here and 100 Euro less than a Hero3 Black.
