I've never had a single issue with mine.

Re: Upgrading to Hero 3 Black
I have three hero 3 blacks, I finally started using them last weekend. No issues and video quality is awesome!

Re: Upgrading to Hero 3 Black
Got one about a month after thinking no way, then way, then just got it. No problems at all. Just a learning curve for me. Two buttons and ten million options.

Re: Upgrading to Hero 3 Black
I got mine in March and used it on a job straight away. No problems but disappointed with battery life - less than 40 minutes.
Left it alone all summer then needed it last week. Charged it up and it froze. Followed the advice to remove the battery up to ten times and it finally powered up after connecting it to an iPhone USB charger and removing the battery for the eleventh time. Carried out a firmware update and not had the 'won't power up' problem since. But also charged it only on the iPhone charger (5V 1A output) since. After three full discharge/recharge cycles I'm getting just over an hour at 1080 50 and no wi-fi, so some improvement in battery life but it seems to lose it's charge in less than a day when turned off. Just bought two Wasabi batteries and a charger, so will compare performance. |
