Connecting WiFi BacPac???
Hi Guys
I'm struggling with my WiFi and remote !!! I updated the WiFi Pack without any issues and then, as instructed, connected it to the camera to update the Remote...Cineform did the update which then failed for some reason. The Hero works fine without the WiFi pack and also fine with it connected BUT if you turn the the remote ..it communicates and shows the display on both devices but when you start a clip it freezes at 13 seconds ...this also locks up the Hero 2 !!! and you have to now rip out the battery to get it back to normal. The issue is obviously the firmware in the remote but how do I connect or re-update that firmware ???? It has no connector. Any help please guys???? Re: Connecting WiFi BacPac???
Another update..Cineform shows the Wifi is updated to Version 3.4.0 and the Remote is updated to Version 2.1.7 which are up to date.
However when I turn the Hero on I get an icon that looks like a piece of paper with a folded corner and a bike graphic on it and a "+" sign which turns to an "OK" shortly after ...it just sits there until I press the shutter button which takes me to the normal mode. What is the bike graphic???? Does that mean maybe that the changes to the updated WiFi have not been applied yet to the camera??? Anyone know what to do from here? Chris |
