Experiences with GoPro Hero 2 in indoor swimming pool?
Does anyone in here have any experience with using a GoPro Hero 2 underwater in an indoor swimming pool?
How did it look? Dark, noisy or just bright and OK? Did you need extra lights shining into the water to get a good image?

If there is good overhead lighting it works ok, but any shadows will be slightly noisy and bright/dark variations can trick the white balance. Do use a flat lens (either Gopros new one or aftermarket) or focus will be very soft.
This was an indoor dive pool good lights but white balance shifted. |

Thanks!
Is it possible to disable auto-whitebalance?

Not that I'm aware of.
In case it is helpful, here is the direct link to the English language Hero2 user manual: http://daharc68pal5t.cloudfront.net/...anual_ENG1.pdf

Okay, thanks for that info.
I don't feel like waiting for it ;-) So, I'm curious have more people experienced such rapid whitebalanceshifts during a take? Or does it only happen with pictures?
