I just picked up the GoPro so now I have both the VIO POV and GoPro Hero.
I also got the Eye of Mine flat port and it seems to work OK so far. Only took a look through it on land. In r4 it didn't appear to have any vignetting, although my above-water initial evaluation isn't going to reveal any edge focus problems. Also, I'll be shooting entirely in 1080 anyway, so any problems in any other format isn't an issue for me. I'll do a couple of tests to compare the VIO and the GoPro. However, as I mentioned, each camera has its unique applications.
