Avchd and cmos for POV cam?

I'm planning on using a Panasonic Avchd cam in a POV/helmetcam rig. Preferably the newst panasonics because they got more manual control than canon and a mic input. And Pansonic got their own transcoder which gives me a fast workflow, dvcprohd, to deliver these POV shots to clients that can't use avchd files.

Anyone got experience with the CMOS for this kind of use where there will be a lot of movement?(thinking about some of the issues with cmos...rolling shutter)
