which deck would you'll recommend that you know works with the canon xh-a1 hdv?
which deck works the best at playing the canon xh-a1 and xh-x1 tapes?

Torrey,
If you shoot in HDV 24F or 30F the best priced deck solution is an HV20 camera. If you shoot in HDV 60i only.... then you can get a Sony deck. |

This is a frequently asked question around here...
-- Any Sony HDV deck will play back Canon 1080i60 video, but not Canon Frame mode video. Currently these decks are the Sony M15U / M25U / HVR-1500. -- Any Canon HDV camcorder will play back all Canon video including Canon Frame mode video. Currently these camcorders are the HV10 and HV20 models. |
