Storing tapes with hard drives

Anyone have any knowledge on the affect a hard drive woudl have on dv tape if stored along side each other?

No hard facts, but I would say: "none".

Or as much as two hard disks to each other.

Well, I called Maxell, they didn't think there was a risk because the magnets in a hard drive are shielded by the casing etc.
