DSR-30 PAL question at DVinfo.net

I need to transfer a PAL DVCAM tape to the computer. I have access to a DSR-30 deck. Does the DSR-30 play PAL or NTSC (for the purpose of going to computer, not a monitor out) or do I need a DSR-11 or some other deck that is listed as playing both?

the DSR11 is baby of the family. Basically what it can do, so can all the others

DSR 30 comes in PAL and NTSC variants. Want to play PAL, need PAL deck.

DSR 11 plays and records both PAL and NTSC, little slider switch on the rear panel.
