Best tape for Sony Z1 and A1

I've just purchased a Sony Z1 and A1 and wondering what the best tape to use in it is. Is the Sony HDV tape worth the extra price? What is everyone's suggestion?

If you are working in HDV, HDV tape seems like reasonable option. Anyway, using very good and little bit cheaper DVCAM tapes would be ok.

As the HDV tapes were some time in coming a lot of users including myself have been using the good ol' Sony Premium tapes.... I've had absolutely no problems with these..
I reckon I'll continue to do so.

I'm also wondering if there is any other benefit to using those Sony HDV tapes or the DigitalMaster tapes. I mean the Sony Premiums are about maybe $3.00 per tape vs. the $12 to $13 for the HDV tapes.

Anyone want to commment on these tapes and any benefit they may have when using them in the FX1 or Z1 cameras?

When I videotape in HDV I buy the cheapest tapes I can get at Costco which is 8 tapes for 20 bucks.

I've always used the Sony Pemium tapes in the FX1 and Z1 and so do a few production houses here in Cardiff; we haven't had any problems with them...
