Damaged DV Tapes

Hello, my name is Jimmy Bustos and I live in Edmonton, Canada.
I have a little bit of a problem; last year I shot a documentary in Chile, about my grandfather's time as a political prisoner. The problem is, in the final week of shooting, near the ocean, my DVX100 AP was water damaged. I cleaned and dried the camera as best I could, and since I had no other camera, I continued shooting two more tapes. When I got back home to Edmonton and I reviewed the footage of the last two tapes. The audio came out fine but the video had four grey horizontal bands across the image. I was wondering is there any way to salvage these tapes.

Thanks
Jimmy
