Panny MQ + Sony head cleaning tape? at DVinfo.net

Hey this is probably a no-brainer but I just wanted to make sure I don't stuff things up.

I have two new cameras and I've read on these boards (a tip from Chris) that I ought to give the heads a clean before recording the first tape.

I intend to use Pannasonic MQ tapes, but my local dealer only stocks Sony head cleaning tape. I figure it's fine to mix brands in this case, as head cleaning tapes should be much of a muchness, and won't be spilling any lubricants on to the heads.
