Anyone own a Sony HVR-1500 ? comments?
Hello all -
I am looking to purchase a pre-owned but low hour HVR-1500 (not the A model). Anyone have one here that can comment on it? Build quality, reliability etc? I have a DSR-45 now, but as I understand it this has a beefier transport like the DSR-1500 ? I would be using it for DVCAM and also capturing tapes shot with my XL-H1A , and XH-A1S... although I understand this deck will NOT read the Canon 24f/30f format... thanks in advance.

I don't have one, but I do own a Sony HVR-M35P. I'm guessing that you're going to enjoy the ability to play the HDV format tapes, as well as those that are of different frame rates (ie PAL vs NTSC).
It really depends on what you want to use it for. Andrew |
