What VCRs Exist for HDV?
Two questions: 1. What is available now or in the near future in HDV VCRs, besides the JVC 720p model? 2. Why hasn't anyone else asked about this by now?
I don't want to use an expensive camcorder for playback or re-recording, regardless of what sort of linear or non-linear editing I'm using. Is there any hint that small and cheaper, 1-CCD, 1080i, consumer HDV camcorders might appear, that could be used for the playback of tapes from highend models?
