Used tapes
Anyone reusing their tapes? I have, and experiencing audio glitches when I play the captured video. I have no dropped frames but I continue to experience audio glitches which is quite annoying and cannot be fixed. Sounds really bad.
If you are using USED tapes are you having audio glitches? I hope its not the camera. Any suggestions? |

You've given two reasons not to re-use tape. Audio and video
problems. Most people simply do not re-use tapes, unless it is perhaps for some testing work etc. I just buy blank tape, it's cheap! It is easy to find out if your having camera or tape problems. Go out and buy a new tape, record some footage and see if you have the same problems. If you do then: - get a cleaning DV tape and run that (might be a good thing anyway) - send your camera back to the manufacturer to get it checked and cleaned

yes, a lot of us are picking a particular brand we feel happy with, sticking to it, and never re using tapes.
What id love to do is to be able to delete all my old tapes and flog em on ebay!
