Where to get Sony miniDV tapes in Las Vegas

Hi there

Quick question, where can I buy Sony premium (blue package) miniDV tapes in Vegas? Perhaps a store that has equipment for rent as well.

And is cheap. Anyone know how much per tape as well?

In my area you can get the Sony premium tapes at most major retailers - specifically Best Buy, CompUSA, Target and WalMart. Was in Target a couple weeks ago and they were on sale in two-packs for about $5 per tape. WalMart's regular price is just a bit more than that.

I'm sure you can do better in quantity via mail order, but if you just need a couple tapes in a hurry this seems reasonable to me...

eBay:
Various online stores there sell mini-DV tape.
Example:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...863644002&rd=1
$30USD shipped for 10 JVC mini-DVs. $28.50USD for each subsequent 10.

There's also stores selling Sony mini-DVs, although I think they cost more.

www.ecost.com
eCost has clearance deals on mini-DV tapes sometimes. They are also cheap.

If you want a particular brand:
www.tapestockonline.com
www.taperesources.com

Stores usually charge a lot for tapes, although you can get it faster if you drive and pay for gas and parking.

Fry's near the Airport, but...

I bought a couple Sony premium tapes when I was there a few weeks ago to tape my daughter's lounge act and got the first "bad" Sony tape I've ever encountered. Bad media gave an error on my PV-GS400 and made me miss the song I most wanted...
