Difference between two tapes?

I'm trying to find out if there is any significant difference between Sony DVM-60PRL and DVM60PR3 other than than one is 30 cents cheaper than the other. The DVM60PR3 is apparently more recently released. I've run a couple of hundred DVM-60PRL's through my PDX10/950s and had no trouble but would switch to the less expensive tape if it is simply a case of newer/better/cheaper.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I wouldn't switch tapes just to save $.30 Most long term users prefer to use just one brand and model of tape and not switch. The general consensus is that switching brands and in some cases models, can be detrimental to the camera and necessitate costly cleanings or repairs.
