broken cassette

I was a little too enthusiastic when inserting a tape into a small rewinder and managed to break the door on the cassette.
After removing what was left of the door, the tape seemed to be in good shape and it will load into my camera, but I can't see any playback.

Does anyone have advice on how I can rescue this footage?
It is not totally unique and not extremely critical. And, the first 5-10 minutes are not going to be used at all.

Thanks
