DV Dubs

I have a very simple question that for some silly reason I'm not certain of the answer.

In getting DV dubs (or clones, if you prefer) made does it matter if the original material was shot on a 1/3" camera but the dubbing camera is 1/4" chips? Will any lose occur? Thanks in advance.

If you mean that you're transferring material from one camera to another via Firewire, then, no - the size of the CCD is immaterial.
You are just copying digital info from tape to tape - the imaging section doesn't come onto the equasion.

That's what I thought but I was having a bit of a brain malfunction. The result of too much shooting and not enough sleep. Thanks.
