DV Tapes
Which are the best brand tapes to be used with the JVC HD10U???

My research has led me to:
Mid-range budget Sony EX tapes. High budget Sony DigitalMaster tapes. Don't bother with low-budget tapes unless you are shooting home videos on your cheap MiniDV camera. If you have a HD10u...get at LEAST the mid-range tapes. Murph

SONY PDV-124DM DIGITAL MASTER TAPE It is $38 and has a runtime of 186 minutes. Gabor |

It's DVCAM, but can be used in DV cameras.
Just make sure it's not "full size" DV tape because most cameras are mini-DV sized. Murph
