do you leave tape in your camera?
when you're not using it do you remove the tape?

Should you? No.
Do I do it? Yes. I never had a problem yet by leaving in my FUJI miniDV tape. |

It's not a good idea to leave tape in a camera for an extended period of time, say more than a day or two. Reason: since the tape will remain threaded through the transport spindles it will eventually become permanently deformed.

you use only Fuji right Frank? That's all i've run so far and what i planned on sticking with.

I have used other kinds of tape in other people's cams, and there were gumming problems when tapes were mixed. The only problems I had in the past were with JVC tapes and a Pana tape cleaner. The Fuji's never gave me any problems. Yes, Fuji's are all I use.
