Canon DV Tape
Just to clear some thing up that I have see on here several times, Canon does make their own dv tape. Link is posted.
Canon Tape Also I think it be nice to all who read this just to reply with the tape brand they use and maybe a reason why. Just an idea. |

Canon does not actually manufacture the tape. They purchase the tapes from a manufacture (probably either Fuji or Panasonic) and have it rebranded to Canon. Just like Sears doesn't make washers and dryers. They contract with a manufacture to make the washers and dryers for them and put their name (Kenmore) on them. There are many threads about tapes and what brands people prefer. Use the search function and locate an existing thread on tape preferences.
