vhs secam for france
i will be shooting hdv (sony Z1U) footage and need to put it on both dvd and vhs for viewing in France. re: the vhs, my client tells me just make the "american one" which I'll do....but just in case he's wrong, and his family can't play ntsc vhs, what do i need to know/do to make a secam vhs?
maybe most people in France have multi format vhs players....if anyone has experience with this i'd greatly appreciate your input. i'm editing in final cut pro.

If you need SECAM the Samsung SV-5000W converts any VHS format to NTSC, PAL, SECAM, Pal-M, or Pal-N
