Sony, Canon, Panasonic

I have an A1 and have been using Sony tapes, which I am now sick of.
I have 5 Canon tapes laying around and was wondering if there will be a problem switching to them--lubrication wise.

Then eventually going to Panasonic because they are cheaper and a common favorite I see.

Thanks in advance
