Pro Tapes? at DVinfo.net

Ever since I bought my camera I have mainly used everyday TDK miniDV tapes and have grown to like them just due to familiarity and have grown a bit of a weariness towards Maxell due to my first experience being with a batch of very corrupted tapes.

I was wondering what other people used and also was very seriously looking into starting to use the Pro Tapes and the more expensive but guaranteed miniDV tapes to help assure more consistency and quality...but I was curious what others used and what some may recommend and also say to stay away from.
