Hi Ed,

There appear to be a couple of 710's on eBay around the neighborhood of $5,500 or so, with lens. They're probably legitimate deals, but I get suspicious of any eBay listing that uses stock photos and press images instead of actual pictures of the actual item being listed. Which is just a pet peeve of mine.

I checked with our three JVC ProHD dealers -- Texas Media Systems, B&H and Adorama (dealer links toward bottom of page) but could not find any used inventory for the 700 or 710.

I can move this post to our Classifieds forum under a "want to buy" label, which will be your best bet for finding a used camera in good condition.

Or, you can step up to a newer model for a replacement. That would be the JVC ProHD GY-HM850. It's an updated version of the 710 which includes live streaming capabilities. See more info here:
