Re: BBC purchasing 500 HM650 cameras
I'm a BBC VJ and I've just been issued with my 650. It's replacing a Z5. Bit early to offer any meaningful thoughts but so far I like the zoom and the auto white balance, the mic bracket is yet again too far forward to allow a 416 and furry, and the icons on the flip-out screen are pathetically small. Fantastic HD pics but we broadcast in SD and I've seen varying downscaled results depending on which machine ingests the card.

Glad to see JVC still doing good business!
