Rail support system?

I have a hm750 with a huge Red matte swing away box. What rail system is used to support the 750 mount?

Dale.. Here is and example of how it fits.. Mine is a 700U but the same as a 750..

I also use a ZFocus and Zwingaway..with it. That's a Petroff 4x4 mattbox..

Re: Rail support system?

Hey Dale, the rods supplied by Zacuto Zepher700 may not work out to be the right length for your particular installation. I ended up ordering a couple different length add on rods to get out to the mattbox. Your mattbox might be different, but just be informed you might need to get some shorter/longer length ones to add/subtract from the total length.

Steve..

I'm using the VCT-U14 Tripod Plate on my 750 will the Zephyr700 work with it?

Re: Rail support system?

Don't hold me to this but I tend to believe it might.

You will have to remove the triangular plate currently installed on your 750 up ahead of the shoulder pad. The Zepher700 goes on first using the screws supplied by Zacuto, and then the original triangular plate gets installed at the bottom of the zepher . The triangular plate will end up in the same position as before also using the new screws provided by Zacuto...

So if the tripod plate you have now worked before, it should work after the Zepher is installed.. Good Luck..

Steve
