JVC 750E Low Light Performance compared to a PanasoniHPX500/502?
Hi all,
Does anyone know how a 750 compares to a Panasonic HPX500/502 in terms of low light capabilities? Has anyone done a direct comparison or simply used both to know how they compare? Thanks in advance, DC |

I have used both, and all I can say the lowlight capabilities of the HPX500 are far beyond the HM700. No wonder, as the HPX is a 2/3" camera.

Re: JVC 750E Low Light Performance compared to a PanasoniHPX500/502?
Hi David
There is never any point doing un-realistic comparisons like is the Sony EX3 better than a GoPro...apart from double the chip size we are talking about just an HPX500 body locally that costs $10K (never mind a decent lens which according to my taste would add another $15K ...so to compare a Prosumer 1/3" CCD chip camera costing $5K with a Broadcast camera five times the price with 2/3" chips isn't going to help anyone. As far as I remember you have a 500??? You really cannot expect anything like the JVC or Panny AC-160 to come even close!!! Chris |
