JVC and Glidecam
Im looking into getting a HD4000 glidecam with the smooth shooter kit. Has anyone used this with a JVC GY HM 700u? If so how did it work for you or can it even handle the camera?
Total weight of my camera with battery is 9.4lbs Thanks -Shane |

Re: JVC and Glidecam
You know, Im going to post in here as well because I am going to need this answer as well.
I will be buying an HD4000 shortly here and it will eventually get paired with an HM700u if it is possible. Looking to hear from someone with experience. |

Re: JVC and Glidecam
I think you would be pushing the limits of both the glidecam and your body using the 4000 with the HM7XX series camera.
Even a Steadicam Pilot would be cutting it close. I think you'd be better off with something that has a bit more "punch" to it be it a preowned Steadicam Flyer or the Varizoom or Glidecam equivalent.
