If I record 1280x720P and send out via firewire (DV) will the scenes be Progressive or Interlaced?

Downconvert to SD
If you set youFirewire output to DV, then your camcorder will transmit DV-compliant bit stream, whcih is interlaced (NTSC or PAL).
