HM700 memory issue
Hey guys, I'm relatively new to this forum and i have web reading for awhile but never posted. I just updated my HM700 with two Sandisk class10 SDHC cards, but when I connect my 700 to my MBP to upload the clips, it only reads the card as "read only". I don't currently own a card reader. What gives?I can't rename the card or delete any files off of it either.

Hi Stephen.
You haven't slipped the lock slider on the side of the card by any chance have you? |

I use a card reader for my HM700 cards, and always format cards in the camera itself, but my manual seems to suggest (in a note somewhere on page 118, I think) that if you connect to the camera using USB, the cards are read-only as far as the computer's concerned....

I hadn't read the post properly, Yes if connecting by USB cable you will be unable to write back to the card in the camera. I have a card reader from the pound shop (cost just £1). It reads the cards just as well as my Sandisc one.
