Lens Protector for Canon 14x

Hi guys,

Could you recommend a good quality clear lens filter that I can use to protect my canon 14x lens? Thanks!

Go Generic

I got mine from B&H and when I asked the sales guy the difference between the generic and the tiffen one he said the generic is just an overstock of the brand name ones so it wouldn't hurt to ask and save a little $$$

Thanks guys. What's the diameter of the Canon 14x? Is it 82mm?

Tiffen | 82mm UV Protector Filter | 82UVP | B&H Photo Video

What do you think about the Hoya | 82mm Ultraviolet UV(0) Haze Multicoated Filter | A82UVC

Yeah.... about the filter threading question....

So here's the deal... On the Canon 14x, the LENS HOOD is 82mm. But the Lens itself is 72mm. Personally, I got the Hoya HMC for mine.
