Any news on HM700w/Canon14x Shipping

Has anyone heard if the 700 is shipping with the Canon 14x yet?
I thought JVC said it would ship in June.

My local dealer, FWIW, says the rep told them that the Canon lens has been delayed until at least mid-July... that's when I decided to go for the Fujinon lens rather than wait.

My dealer indicated later than that... and that the production 14x lenses were a disappointment.

JVC-Germany says that the Canon 14x rollout is this untill June09. And all customers should have their JVC HM700E untill the 4th of Juli09.

Our JVC rep here in Austin said they would be shipping the final week of June. That could be Monday?

My HM700 comes on the 30.6.09 to the broadcast-reseller,
I get my HM700 with the Canon 14x yesterday on the 3th of July,
a really nice lens! Less CA, a good DOF.

Eric - we hope you can post a small sample showing how the lens performs......

I am awaiting reviews on the 700 with Canon 14x - very interested in your footage & review.

I make the last three days some testshots, nearly 5 to 6 fan-hours a day, today a shot in a church, with the heat in the room and the temperature into the cam, you hear a little noise, its the fan inside. Yesterday I shot on a MTB-Marathon, I don`t hear the fan outside.

In puncto CA, I see on 1080i50 SP a little bit more CA that on 720p50 SP, but on the 1080i50 SP-Footage (25 MBit) I shot with a O-Hazefilter to prevent my lens. Probably that can be not so good against CAs, without an O-Haze its really better.

Soon I will upload some test-clips.

Eric: Danke!

One question: in the overcrank footage, the yellow flower approximately 3/4 of the way in has light green fringing on the top. Can you confirm that this occurs on the not-compressed-for-Vimeo footage as well?

In FinalCut it looks good, but after compression
the yellowflower looks on Vimeo a little
green, I wondered, but I think that will
be the compression.
