Advice on 2nd camera for a comedy shoot
I have the HM100 and will be shooting the performance of a standup comedian. I need to find another camera (2 if cheap) that I can set up on the stage behind him to get audience shots. I plan to set the HM100 to 1280X720 60p HQ and take a line feed from the audio mixer. I will also have another audio recorder rolling to mix audience reaction sound. Does anyone have suggestions as to the characteristics that this second camera should have or specific suggestions as to brand/model? I plan to start this rolling at the start of the set to run throughout the show (about 2 hours). I can get power to the second camera(s) so battery life is not an issue.

I like the fact you are shootihg 720 60p I think the HM100 looks best in 720p.
The hard part is your second camera will most likely not be shooting in 720 60p. I don't know of two many cheap 720p cameras. |
