30P not "true" progressive?
Just noticed this last night.
Set your GY-HM100 for 1080 30 HQ Set shutter speed to 1/30th Do you see interlacing lines (fields)? Move camera fast and watch your footage frame by frame. I CLEARLY see interlacing on mine. Oddly enough, it goes away when shutter is faster,..like 1/48th and higher. The file that is definitely a progressive frame but it appears created by interlaced "scanning" or something. 24p mode is perfectly fine,...even when set to 1/24th shutter. Damn!,..can anybody else confirm this on theirs? CT |

Check for a thread about interlacing in progressive mode.
A few users reported something like this. |
