Re: HM 100 - Quality of image for Broadcast?

HI,

Sorry first, if my english is not so good.

I used my HM 100 last August for 1 week travelling trough Sri Lanka. The size of the camera (XLR system removed) let me enter places where I certainly not could have entered with an EX1, because it looks too professional !

The quality of the images i shoot were very good. I shoot all the time in 720p50.

At home i presented the film cutted in Edius 5.51 (cuts xdcam ex files natively) with a big JVC professionnal beamer to many people, and everybody without exeption was asthonished by the quality of the images. The size of the screen was about 2, 5 meters high to 4 meters large.

It is true, that the cameras low light performance is not the best, but, for me she is the best compromise between quality, size and not forget PRICE !
