VIEWING IN A PC - Help!
Hi guys,
I currently uise FC pro, but my dad bought the HM100 also as he really liked it, but he uses a PC not a MAC. i have tried to view the MOV files that he shot but I have had NO SUCCESS with this. i re installed Quicktime, and no dice. It says i need an additional plug in to view the files, but I don;t know which one i need. He uses PINNICLE Studio 14 to edit, and not willing to go maxc just yet. any help would be much appreicated Andrew |

Have you had any luck.
I had the same problem with the .MOV files I recorded on my HM700. I couldn't open them on a PC. I found the following which opens them as an mpeg2. It doesn't transcode the image, just the audio, so there is no loss of image quality. Programme - www.mik-digital.de down load the third one down MP4toMPG V3. It works well. |

Wo! This is great!!!! Thanks for this! Since getting the camera, I've been struggling with .mov and mp4. At home, I'm on a Mac but the office is on Edius and this has been a cause of some stress. But this now solves the problem! Thanks again for the link!
