Class 6 32GB
My brother gave me a 32GB Class 6 Verbatim for my birthday( Yeah....He's a great guy!).
Works great in my HM100! I'm spoiled now by 32GB, but have a question: Do I need to get the firmware upgrade? The Class 6 works fine. |

Tracy, when did you purchase your HM100? JVC had a firmware update Aug 2009
If your HM100 was purchased before then, you may be required to update your firmware to be compliant with 32GB Class 6 cards and will definitely require the update to use Class 10 cards. You can go to JVC Professional Customer Support - Product Upgrades Under the HM100 Firmware Updates they state "Updated firmware is now available for the GY-HM100U. The new firmware enables recording to SDHC Class 10 media, and includes minor bug fixes. (August 2009)" I am not sure if you will have to send in your camera for the update. |
