One other Sync question
I have a Marantz PMD 670 recorder that uses CF memory cards. Because I can match it to the uncompressed audio of the HM100, what would be the best way to synch the two? This way I can full stereo onto the video without having to trail cables or relying on RF from the board.

Just turn them both on, jump in front of both units and count down from 5 and then CLAP once, you should be able to see the clap on the waveform on both tracks on your NLE and will take 5 secs to line them up.
If your levels are too low to see easily, it may help to normalise your audio track in your recorder before exporting the file if you can, or normalise them both in the computer. Cheers, Vaughan |

synching
Thanks. That's pretty much what I have been doing. I was hoping for some arcane electronic method that would get closer to being spot on.
