HM100 Audio Handle Mishap
I was going to put this under the 'Revision' thread but actually it needs a hardware fix...
I have been using the HM100 in and out of a bum-bag (fanny-pack) mounted across my abdomen while doing some mountain climbing gunning recently. The camera handled and performed very well indeed with one notable exception. Pulling the camera out vertically from face down, on one occasion the rear of the audio/handle unit separated where the rubber surface joins onto the plastic. It comes away and 'pops' underneath the metalwork frame. No biggie as it does not affect handling or operation at all, just an annoyance. I levered it back in place with a Leatherman, about 3 times. I might look at superglue..... Will offer more substantial report back on general performance later in week. Cotty |
