Not a Media Composer but I've been somewhat successful at getting HM700 QuickTime files into an PC-based Avid NewsCutter Adrenaline by adding that $70 Quicktime plug-in that Tim mentions in one of his posts. Initially I didn't get audio as well and I was disappointed that I was seeing artifacts. However, I tested with every format available in the HM700 and I seem to remember that only shooting at 1080i/60 gave me acceptable results. That answer doesn't apply to everyone though, this Avid is set up to do HD at 1080i/60. All other formats out of the HM700 came in at a smaller than full frame size. I can't remember what I did to solve the audio problem. Sorry. It's a work computer in a nearby city that I'm hired to work on only once in a while.

Thank you. It means I can't treat this a "unique to me" situation and have to run this down. I was using 1080p24 and 720p60.
