HM100u and 35mm Lens Adapter

Anyone know if this camcorder will be compatible with a 35mm lens adapter? Something like the Letus Mini or Extreme. I couldn't find 100U's lens thread size specs.

It´s 46mm. I´m planning on using a Brevis without flip with it to keep the kit as small as possible.

Also note that the HM100 DOES NOT have the built-in "flip" but the HM700 does.

The "flip" is to flip the video right side up in the view finder?

Yes.

But I don't know why this wouldn't be included in the HM100. I wonder if the image flips when the viewscreen is flipped?

The HM100 is small enough perhaps it can be used upside down.

Lacking also is the LANC or similar connection. This might be a good sky-diving camera, mounted on a hemlmut or wheel, but it would be normal to use a controler for the zoom and focus, though the HM100 doesn't allow this.

I would think the 1/4" chips would be enough of a limitation that other features wouldn't have to be disabled just to protect the price point of the HM700.

Additional Question RE: Lens adapters

Is there a 2X adapter that could be used with the HM100U that might lengthen its zoom a bit that would be of the 46mm thread size?
Just got my camera today. Charging the battery as I write.
