HD251 Blurring around frame edge
I've had a quick search for this topic, but not found anything, i do remember some other people having this issue though...?
Basically i've noticed mostly when filming in theatres/studios/live venues anywhere with lighting rigs, the shots are always distinctly blurred around the edges of the frame (looked for a frame grab but don't have clips on this computer!) It's actually on the outer third of the frame, and i don't know if it's linked to when only shooting in theatres, or just that i notice it more there. Anybody heard of this?....I sorted back focus out and it still happens... I'd love to get my head round it and understand what's going on. very strange! |

Are you using the 16x5.5mm stock Fuji lens?
This lens in particular exhibits undesirable characteristics when zoomed in past 45mm. Vignetting and the aberration you described are common.
