Drop frame fix in OS 10.4.10 update?

I see this fix is in the latest 10.4.10 update:

"Addresses a specific issue in which users importing video from a DV camera may experience dropped frames."

I wonder if this will help us ProHD/FCP users and the mysterious split clip problem?

Hi Drew - this didn't kick in over night but I've just checked for new s/w and the version is awaiting download.
Unfortunately I'm busy editing today otherwise I'd try and give it a go.
Be nice if it did indeed kill that known problem, but I would'nt hold my breath!
