Need Help Balancing a HD100U on a Hot Head
We'll be using a Barber Boom, a close kin to Jimmy Jibs, and the operator was wondering if there's a unit on the market to help balance this nose heavy camcorder.
Or, if by chance, you guys have any tricks up your sleeves to get this "little mealoaf" (his words) to balance on the plate. Thanks! Last edited by R.W. Swanson; June 12th, 2007 at 08:00 PM. |

I've had the 100 on a Jimmy Jib and never had balance issues. Nothing that the slot in the head's baseplate couldn't account for.

I've done a jimmy jib, steadman weaver + jib + fisher 11, and a few other combos and never had a problem. at best a maffer clamp or two can be used if you really have a problem. clamp it onto what ever is solid
