Dead pixel fix for older JVC cameras?

This is not exactly the right place for this topic but there doesn't seem to be a forum here for standard def JVC cameras anymore (or perhaps I'm just going blind). Does anyone know of a process to program out dead pixels on a JVC GY-DV550?

The technique I used on my HD100 worked well but I can't find any reference to older models from JVC.

Hi William,

There is pixel correction in the GY-DV550U. Please call tech support for instructions. (See sticky at top of forum for tech support info.)

Regards,
