Spectacular improvement in color from your GY-HD100 & 110
The post entitled "TrueColor v3.0 available online" is must reading for all of us - especially those who are closer to "sumer" than "pro" in our technological knowledge of these cameras.
I hope the managers here won't mind my calling attention to the year-old TrueColor thread with this current posting. The title line "TrueColor v3.0 availabe online" just does not communicate what that incredibly important thread is all about: It's about bringing spectacular improvement to the color performance of your camera by simply changing some of those mysterious menu items about things like "Gamma." What is gamma? I still don't know! But I do know how to set it now, thanks to Paolo Ciccione. It appears to us that the setting Paolo has zeroed in on should have been the default standard settings for this camera. Follow Paolo Ciccione's instructions from this page: http://www.paolociccone.com/hd100-calibration-3.html The results will knock you off your feet. Thank you, Paolo!!
