Pixel Compensator Problem

Can someone post the routine for dealing with dead pixels...I tried following the instructions from another post but it's not working. Thanks.

You have to be in 720P24 mode.

Put the cap on the lens.

Make sure the camera is warmed up for at least 15 minutes.

That is the routine I tried that didn't work. I cannot access the "advance menu." [edited out partial routine] The regular menu just comes up. What am I doing wrong?

Are you pressing and holding both buttons on the LEFT side of the camera?
