SD 16:9 footage
Foolish question perhaps...does the 200 or 250 shoot in 16:9 SD to DV tape? Will that tape play back on a Sony playback deck? Will it intercut in FCP with a 16:9 SD DV tape produced on a Z1U. Reason being, I need a second SD 16:9 DV camera for the Z1U on occasion, but would choose to purchase a 200 or 250 for all the obvious HD reasons.
Thanks, Craig |

Yes, the ProHD series shoots in 16x9 SD beautifully.

Thanks for the info
thank you both....that's a relief. I shoot event coverage to pay the bills and need to intercut with SD 16:9 from a my Z1U in FCP. Thanks again. I look forward to owning a 200 asap. I still have a JVC DV500 that still works like a champ. BTW I started with 3/4" using a JVC BY110-U 3 tube camera that still works but is used as a conversation piece!
Best, Craig |
